It's a small world after all.

Today I met a friend. Actually, today I met a friend's friend.

Now that friend of my friend is the president of one of the student associations at The University of Winnipeg.

And guess who's his vice-president? That's right - my best friend.

You see the thing about Winnipeg - that I was so acutely reminded of today - is that everybody knows everybody.

I love it.

  1. So true. It's hard to leave the house without bumping into a friend, or a friend of a friend, or even a friend of a friend of a friend.

This sometimes drives me crazy, but mostly, I love it too.

  3. Haha you figured it out!

Did you guys know that NDP Kevin Chief is married to the niece of a friend of the PC candidate he was running against?

Glad I'm not in politics...too confusing where to stake your loyalties:)

  4. I could imagine that would be an awkward family dinner.

I can't even walk by the U of W these days without running into someone I know. I was walking by the Soma Cafe there and ran into my friend (who is the former president of the UWSA). I went in to say hi and it turned out one of my old friends works there now.

    Funny how things work.
